DICT Engages Datec PNG and Check Point on Cybersecurity
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) met with Datec PNG Limited and its cybersecurity partner, Check Point Software Technologies, on September 1 for a product and service overview briefing.
The briefing brought together representatives from DICT’s Cybersecurity Operations Centre, Government Cloud, Innovation and Incubation Hub, and DevOps teams.
Check Point representative Mr David May delivered a high-level presentation on the company’s cybersecurity services and solutions.
The discussion also gave DICT’s technical teams valuable insights into how Datec, through Check Point, can strengthen cybersecurity for government infrastructure and ensure the secure rollout of digital government services.
The engagement is part of DICT’s ongoing work with industry partners to strengthen cybersecurity and build safer and more reliable digital services for government.
