2018 ICT Sector Roadmap
In mid 2017 to 2018, the Department of ICT undertook an assessment of the ICT sector in PNG. Based on the assessment, an ‘ICT Sector Roadmap 2018’ was developed. The ‘sector roadmap’ established that there is a shift in ICT development, trends and practices in PNG more towards digitalization. Therefore, the Roadmap recommended six (6) digital pillars that set the bases for the digital transformation journey that the Department of ICT is progressing.
